“Upon arrival, it was evident upon arrival that the place had not been cleaned--debris & hairballs on the floors and in the nightstand drawers, thick dust on the baseboards, bedroom blinds don't fully close, 2 worn-out bath towels for a booking for 4 adults, car with broken windows in the parking area. Shared pics with host and they say "I see there are a few spots that could have been cleaned better..." Host offered to send a cleaning crew back out, but after a full day of travel, we didn't……

Walkable to tourist sites near the river, blocks from The Belt, close to many of Detroit's murals and sports venues, and across the street from the dueling Coney Island hot dog restaurants. Short drive to Eastern Market (highly recommend breakfast at Farmer Frank's before a walk through the market) and Midtown. Unit is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, quiet. My only "complaint" pertains to limited kitchen supplies (e.g. there is no pot large enough for pasta……
