“The hotel itself was ok, however our check in experience was very disappointing. We were in town for a concert, as were many other guests. We were supposed to have our digital room key available at 4pm, and after 10 or 15 minutes after 4 with no room key, we checked at the front desk and they simply said "your room just isn't ready yet", and gave no inclination as to when it should be ready. We had dinner reservations at the concert venue for 4:30pm before the show, so seeing as we were running……
“Hotel looks good from the outside and lobby but rooms are very run down. Rugs were very dirty with red stains. They did not do up our room or even replace our towels. We had to ask. Strong smell of pot and cigarette. Offer free shuttle service only after 4 and not on Sundays. Breakfast was only till 9:30 on weekend.”
“There are certainly better options in downtown Detroit. While a relatively inexpensive option for the weekend we were there, I would not choose this hotel again.”
