All good.

Well I checked in and was given room 251. Walked in and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. Hate smoke as it gives me a headache, but had to leave and when I got back asked to change rooms. They gave me room 145 and walked in and didnt smell like smoke (at first) but was very stale. The thermostat was shredded but was able to see the on/off and fan speed. Nothing worked. So went back and asked for a different room and was told since I was changed once, couldnt change again. They did give me a fan but it was so loud had to turn it off to get to sleep and then I could smell the smoke. Was barely able to sleep as the air was stale and smelled of smoke and ended up with a pounding headache. So a negative star but they do not allow it. The location is poor, but was thinking just needed a place to get some rest and it was cheap. Mistake as I had almost no rest but I guess it was cheap. Clientiele was like the people of Wal Mart, very iffy at best, but could have coped if the fan was working and didnt smell like smoke. Best to pay more money to have gotten some rest,

The room, bed and breakfast were good. There were two room issues that needed assistance: 1) TV had no signal, and 2) Freezer had so much ice build-up that the door would not close. Called the front desk, and Heather said she would come to our room to set the TV correctly. After nearly an hour no one showed up, so we went to the desk and asked for help again. Once Heather arrived we showed her the freezer issue, she said there were no maintenance people available to help, I also asked for a screwdriver so that I could remove the ice myself. She said there was nothing she could do and that "it was not her problem". We were both very surprised at her attitude, when my wife asked her to repeat what she had just said, she went into "fight mode" and said that she was being very nice and didn't like my wife's attitude. After some more tense discussion, we asked that her manager come and take a look. After a few more minutes, she came back with her manager (don't know his name, he was a young polite middle eastern man), and he said we could switch rooms to get a working fridge and said he would come back with a key. While he was talking with us and fixing our TV issue, Heather accused my wife of "giving her a bad look" although this was not happening - again, she was trying to pick a fight. We eventually got a different fridge which worked great. Heather's general attitude was combative and inappropriate, we hope her manager discusses this situation with her to correct things.
