The rooms are typical European small but very clean. They only give you one pillow each could use two more pillows because they were kind of thin. But the food the restaurants around that area are amazing. And the best thing about this place is you are 10 steps from the Vatican. The location is awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

BorgoNove was the perfect accommodation whilst visiting the Vatican City for a conference. The owners were quick to answer my many WhatsApp messages about transfers, irons and a lost necklace and they were warm and welcoming with their messages. The room was really big, bed was comfortable and it was really clean. I had almost everything I needed with the only exception being an iron and board, which is fair enough when on holiday, I was at a conference so it would have been helpful, but definitely not a deal breaker! The owners also told me this before I stayed so I could have brought my own if I really had felt the need. I could not get the coffee machine to work either, but I did hear other people using it so I presume it was just my own incapability! Maybe some simple instructions would be good for those of us that cannot function without coffee in a morning :) I would highly recommend BorgoNove and would love to stay again should I get the opportunity to visit Rome again as it was really easy to get into the city centre.

During my pilgrimage to the Vatican, I stayed there for a while. The location was very convenient for me, though the property and facilities were quite simple and modest. Yet in that simplicity, I found a sense of peace and gratitude — a reminder that true comfort comes from the Lord’s presence.

First night in Italy!

Great hotel, literally steps from the Vatican. The breakfast included was simple, but it was available 24 hours which was a huge bonus, recovering from jet lag. Very small but had everything we needed, especially in a great location!
