Ilana and Ricardo were great communicators and shared info on dining nearby. We were created exactly on time by Ricardo who took time to take us up to our apt. There is a cute lift for two that was nice for getting luggage upstairs. We felt very safe and in a great location to walk the pedestrian only road to the Vatican. Also, just 1 block from the Metro and a bus stop. Very happy we found this.

Great location but building and room is old so there’s an odor. Check in was terrible. We told them our checked in time and even when we landed and on our way. When we got there we couldnt get in and thought we got scammed. Tried messaging but it took a while for them to respond. Waited about 30 minutes until someone showed up.

Would’ve appreciated if they informed us that the air conditioning was not working. We needed to open the window and that was a bother because of the noisy traffic. The beddings were also questionable as they had an unpleasant odor. We checked out after the first day. Look elsewhere!

Bof...

I give it a 3 out of 5.

It was a nice, clean room! We stayed there 3 nights and they charge you an extra $21.50 a day. So just read the fine print. For that matter get the $100 room and get breakfast with your stay. My other family members were on the other side and they thought it was very noisy. Also be aware doesn’t have AC so it’s very stuffy. In the summer it will be boiling. WiFi is crappy. Goes in and out. The owners are nice just needs those few things fixed.

Friendly owner and nice stay right by Vatican

We had a wonderful stay at Interno 5. The room was clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful to us. I do recommend to stay here. Also if you are staying here, don't forget to visit restaurant, Sistrante. This nice family owned restaurant is the best family style Italian restaurant in Rome.
