We liked the location of this apartment as it was close to the Vatican. The size of the apt was a plus for us with the two of us plus 2 older children (17 & 21) so they were able to have their own rooms and bathrooms. The elevator was nice but we didn’t really need it. The host was gracious enough to wait for us for a later check in (after 9pm - and for an add’l charge) since it took us longer than we thought to get from FCO to the property via the train and public transit. The cafe just below us at street level was also convenient.
Loved the apartment - location 2 minutes walk from St Peter's Square. It was clean, modern, and well appointed. The host was there waiting for us when we checked in and very responsive before and during our stay. She arranged airport transportation for us.
Location, Location, Location!!! 100 yard walk to St Peter’s Square and Basilica. Easy walk to Vatican Museum entrance. 25 minute walk to Roman Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Use the “ItTaxi” app for all of Italy when you don’t want to walk. It has a regulated/standardized rate, no crazy Uber rates. Plenty of shops and restaurants within a few block radius. The host was extremely attentive, even as far as ground transportation and George at check in, considering we couldn’t make a connection due to weather and arrived late in the evening. Three bedrooms and FOUR full bathrooms, and a good size living/dining room. We were a group of 3 adults and 3 high schoolers, so plenty of room to separate after long days of sightseeing together. Elevator came in handy as it was on the third floor, but that too was great because you could open the windows and take in the fresh air and sounds of the streets below. We would definitely recommend this property, and would 100% stay here again. And definitely take an evening stroll through St Peter’s Square after a late dinner, absolutely moving when lite up at night with no crowds. Thank you again Donatella and George!
Wonderful place to stay! Great apartment, just outside the entrance to St. Peter’s square. Loved having space for everyone & en-suite bathrooms, plus great dining options just downstairs. Communication with the property management was great. Short walk to a grocery store or laundromat if needed.
The apartment was very nice and clean. It was great to have 4 full bathrooms and air conditioning in the heat of Rome. The apartment was so close to The Vatican City and many restaurants. Do note-no full kitchen.
Great location to beautiful outdoor restaurants and shops and very close to Vatican. When staying with colleagues, the separate bathrooms per room was helpful and comfortable for all.
Very clean, modern apartment. Conveniently located next to the Vatican Police Dept and the Vatican. My grandson loved that there was a McDonald’s across the street for breakfast. Also next door is a little cafe/restaurant that is quite good and a gelato shop on the corner. Also very easy to get a cab from there as they’re driving by all the time. The host booked transportation for us to and from the airport which helped immensely. I would stay there again my next trip to Rome.
The host was amazing in helping us to set up transportation to the vrbo. Great communication with host. We loved the apartment, thankfully there was an elevator for luggage. In the heart of town and like 5 min from St Peter's square. Unbelievable sites and sounds from apartment. We would people watch from the apartment. Walking around and finding great places to eat was easy. My only complaint would be that the beds were too hard. Definitely would stay again. Donatella and Roberto were amazing
Very secure building with a minimart one block away that has anything you need, and Borgo Pio St just outside has tons of little restaurants for dinner. Rooms/living room are super comfortable and modern, very clean and spacious. We didn’t use the kitchenette, but it has everything you need to cook something on the 2 burner stove if you need to. Location is superb if you want to be close to the Vatican and St Peter’s Square as they are a stone’s throw away, which is why we booked this place since it’s on the same side as the Holy Door entrance. Donatella and Sylvia are wonderful hosts and get back to you right away if you have any questions; even reserved us a car for transportation back to the airport and had a nice pamphlet outlining everything you need to know about nearby restaurants, shops, etc.
