The staff here was lovely. However, the bathroom in my room had mold and the room had either been smoked in, or smoke from another room was wafting into mine. Lovely folks who run the place, but the amenities themselves could stand improvement.

Comfortable good budget

Needed a reasonably priced comfortable hotel with 4 individual rooms with en-suite to visit Rome . It’s not central Rome but a short walk to the metro and your in the heart in 20 minutes , plenty of shops cafes near by .

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room itself had everything you need, including a Smart TV, safe, and mini-fridge. The facilities were well-maintained and all was cleaned regularly. The Strand is super close to the nearby metro stations, making it a convenient place to stay. Lovely atmosphere!

Nice small hotel

We saw some bad reviews on the hotel, but it looks like they are handling them. The were very kind and helpful. The pool had been neglegted, but they were definately trying to get it clean again. We used every day. Its a nice little hotel in the suburb. Definately a place we would come back to…. And its very easy to go to rome by bus, ehich is just outside

I booked this place all because of the pool just to show up and be told that I’d have to pay an additional $15 euros each day id like to use it . This was very surprising and upsetting .. also I was not greeted nicely by any of the staff at the front desk they don’t provide an inviting environment.

The photos on internet does not match with the room given at the arrival. There is no amenities, the front desk employee was unable to answer neither help when I told him that we have been make our reservations two months before arrrival and he just told we are hotel full occupancy. The room given smells terrible and room did not match what they published on internet! Next day we complaint at front desk and the changed us to other room almost what the published, but we lost almost half a day and there were cockroaches. They publishes pool but we have been told that was out service. The experience was terrible at all!

Aside from the pool being “under maintenance”, my stay was amazing, beautiful mini resort style property. If you have lots of bags, it might be tricky to get down the stairs but lovely front desk and room.

Good location but needs some love

Good location between two Metro stations but the hotel has seen better days. We only stayed one night on the last day of our trip so it was ok as the price was good. I hope its true that it will get some much needed tlc soon.

There was a really bad smell in the hotel and in the room. When we left the hotel, the smell stuck on all of ours clothes. The washroom is right next to the bed, and it didn’t close well, so you just had to sleep next to that. The room is also very small. The bed and the pillow were way too soft and sinks. In general, the room wasn’t in good condition. Positive: it’s right next to a metro and a supermarket
