"Stayed for three nights at le Mazet for the New Year. Everything was just as depicted in the lovely photographs, and all was spotless. Wonderful hosts, wonderful home, highly recommend. Make sure to bring your slippers: there are heaters that blow warm air, but when it is cold outside the floors are frigid! The only negative is that like many villages in France, Roquevaire is not as vibrant as it once was, there is a commercial center outside of town (most likely to blame for the closed bakery...

"We stayed at Lucia’s delightful Bastide for a couple of nights at the start of October. It was a peaceful setting with a great view of the surrounding area. The property is a beautiful old Bastide well kept, decorated and maintained - it was a pleasure to stay here. The breakfast was lovely and Lucia was very accommodating. Roquevaire is a short 5-10 mins drive from the property with a few restaurants. Easy to access to Cassis makes it a great base for discovering the coast and Calanques."
