Staff were very friendly and helpful

We had a great stay at the Riu. I read many reviews when we booked this property and was surprised to see how many 4, 5, and 6 star ratings there were. This was an absolute 10/10 for us and we would definitely stay here again. Pros The whole place was very clean. They had staff mopping and wiping down constantly. The rooms were really nice and clean and not too outdated, which is what I read on other reviews. The staff were exceptional, from the bars, restaurants, pool, and entertainment staff. Special shoutouts to Hugh, Leo, Arnold, Vivianna, and Sasha! The food was very good. Good options at the buffet. We had no problem getting into the restaurants, but you most likely won't be able to get a reservation until your third night. This is consistent with what we read on other reviews. Cons The pools require some updates and there are some tiles around the pool area that need to be replaced. But, this did not have a negative impact on our pool time.

Very well appointed condo. Views are incredible. Beach area is small but lovely. Infinity pool was great and perfectly heated. Wonderful pickleball and paddle court that’s surrounded by beautiful foliage and open 24hrs. Staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs for a late checkout.

Staff are wonderful and amazing! John was very respectful and let us check in early and check out later than usual so we would have a good trip. Chris and Shania helped me plan my proposal to my girlfriend and it could not have gone any better! Treasure was very sweet and helped me with everything I asked for. I had a really bad headache one day and Juan gave me some of his Ibuprofen to help. Marcie was also a great help with getting us a taxi late at night and giving us information about where to go. There was another woman there who helped clean and I wasn’t able to get her name but she was the sweetest and made sure we were okay. The cooks are amazing and the Indian food was the best we’ve ever had! The building is so beautiful and they are always around tending to it and are always around to help you whenever you need it. This is the best place on the island to stay if your in the Nassau.

We've been to the "go-go" big resort like the SLS BAHA MAR a couple of times before .... then we found this small upscale boutique resort As seniors, this is a marked contrast much for the better: peace and quiet is NEVER a bad thing . Highly recommended for the traveller looking for a refined quiet secluded getaway. PS the spa treatments are fab with a special shoutout for Lynn Lowe as a "must do"
