We travel quite a bit and have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, so here’s our honest experience. The first hiccup was check-in. The Expedia app said check-in was at 3:00 PM, but when we arrived we were told it was actually 4:00 PM. We were offered the option to upgrade our room for an extra charge if we wanted one sooner, but we decided to wait. The rooms could definitely use a refresh and a full facelift. They feel quite dated, the beds and bedding weren’t the most comfortable, and the air conditioning sounded like it had been faithfully doing its job since the 1980s. 😂 The bedding in particular felt a bit cheap rather than soft or cozy. Our balcony overlooked the rooftop with a small ocean view, which wasn’t ideal, but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. Overall, we would rate the rooms 4 out of 10. We did also run into a plumbing issue during our stay where the toilet stopped working due to a malfunction in a pump system. There was also a slight smell of sewage in the room for a short period, which was definitely not pleasant. That said, to their credit, maintenance came quickly and fixed the issue right away, and things were back to normal shortly after. Now for the best part—the beach is absolutely incredible. Easily a 12/10. Crystal-clear turquoise water, soft white sand, and plenty of beach chairs available every day. It’s also within walking distance of Atlantis, which was a nice bonus.
