Rossignol Cultural Centre Tours

This place is OLD. Very quaintly decorated, however, extremely run down. You can tell that major effort has been made to keep the place running and churning along. The room was clean. The decor was dated and some actually broken. Bathroom was clean but fixtures were needing replaced, etc. Breakfast was plentiful but lacking in quality....dried scrambled eggs, half cooked bacon, greasy sausage, greasy fried hash brown patties, bread/toast, coffee, tea, water, lemonade. It got us through our initial travel leg of the trip as it was close to airport and we had a very late plane arrival. Neighborhood is extremely sketchy and the apartments across the street appear to be inhabited but extremely run down and unsightly....broken windows, run down building. Would not recommend. Will not be returning.

The Sutton Place Hotel in Halifax was great. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The location is perfect for walking around downtown and the waterfront. Valet parking was easy. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good.

Good place to stay. Lower price, free parking, close to where we were going and breakfast was included.
