"We had a wonderful stay! The check-in process was very informative, and we really appreciated that our host waited for us since we arrived late from our flight. He was extremely friendly and took the time to explain everything the hotel had to offer. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful ocean view. We loved enjoying coffee on the balcony while watching the sunrise, and having breakfast delivered right to our room was such a lovely touch. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!"

"The hotel is beautiful, check out the living walls in the lobby seating area. The view from our very quite room was perfect. The staff was more than welcoming, they made us feel wanted and cared for. The decor of the hotel is attractive and upscale without being pretentious. Being in the heart of the city everything is a brief walk. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a nice espresso maker. The bathroom was large and the tub was the largest, most relaxing tub of any hotel I have stayed in. Do take a bath, then dry yourself with the warm towels from the hot towel rack. Beds were comfortable especially if you bring your own pillow to make you feel at home. This hotel is worth the price and the time spent. Restaurant tip: Must try the Riga restaurant just across the street, but do make a reservation, you won't be disappointed."

"Jeff and Anna were great! So helpful and responsive; before and during our stay. The property it sits on is so peaceful and lush, with a historically fascinating park just steps away. The hosts helped us with bus navigation down into Victoria and little hiking gems close by. It’s a darling VRBO and having a washer & dryer was a real convenience too!"

"The guy at the front desk was the best front desk staff I’ve ever had. Super friendly and helpful. Explained everything perfectly. Breakfast was good, not a fan of wood utensils, would rather reusable utensils. Pool was nice."

"I just loved my stay at the Beacon Inn. As a female travelling alone , it was very safe, the door was always locked. The staff was amazing and super friendly. I was greeted by name when I entered. The best was the jacuzzi in my room. It was steps to the beach, shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it."

"Molly’s cottage is an absolute treat! Hosts are wonderful and were super helpful navigating the area and informing us of fun things happening during our stay. Beds are super comfortable. Linens are lovely and the goodies in the fridge were such a nice touch! Location is super convenient and the suite is lovely and quiet so we slept perfectly. We would definitely recommend the place to friends and family and anyone that needs a place to stay:)"

"This was the perfect place to accommodate our family. Zoe was very responsive and helpful, providing a crib and high chair upon request. The main living space is all on one floor, which was ideal for our 15-month-old daughter.The home is in a quiet neighbourhood, approximately a 20-minute walk from downtown Sidney. There is also a bus stop out front, which could be very convenient for some guests. Check-in went very smoothly.The additional bedroom and laundry area appear to have once been a garage, so there are a few steps down. The washer and dryer are new, and the robot vacuum was an added bonus! The beds in this room could definitely use replacing, as they sagged considerably in the centre. This was our only genuine complaint.The backyard was large, and the patio was welcoming. We also appreciated having a barbecue to use. However, the patio finish and furniture could use an update, as the cushions were badly sun-damaged and the seating could be more comfortable.Overall, there was plenty of space for our family, with room for additional guests thanks to the two hide-a-beds. We enjoyed our stay, appreciated how well the home accommodated our needs, and would happily book it again if needed."
