“Although the property is updated, it retains the characteristics of a farmhouse. The kitchen was updated, but still had, what look like, original built-ins. The bathrooms were updated, but the bedrooms looked original with hardwood floors, solid wood doors, and antique hardware. The lake was good and almost empty on Thursday and Friday. “This was the perfect house for our stay in Moose Lake. We came up to do some trail riding and we could leave right from the house. Also close enough to walk to the brewery and other restaurants. The house was adorable and you could tell there was a lot of thought into all the small details. Very clean and everything seemed brand new from the kitchen appliances to the sheets and towels. Staci was quick to respond to all my messages and very accommodating to our requests. We will definitely stay...

“Our family: mom, dad and 4 grown children-2 with spouses, met here to celebrate a late Christmas. There were 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and living room large enough for all of us to play games in. Also, it was dog friendly so we could include our pets in the gathering. The owner used a snowmobile to mark hiking trails which was a great afternoon activity.”

Friendly but well-separated neighbors on one side, undeveloped forest on the other. Access is by a paved but lightly trafficked road.
