“we stayed for 3 nights. the place was clean and comfortable. 15 minutes walk to Kyoto station. The only thing I would like to point out is that the staircase is rather steep, which elder people might find tricky. Overall we love this house and highly recommend it to everyone.”

The house overlooks a school yard which is honestly kinda cool to see what japanese culture is for school kids. Its also a great view of the sunset. The homeowners were very communicative with all of our questions and very helpful. Cant recommend this property enough!”

“What an awesome experiences in Stitch Hotel. First of all, great location in not only for public transportation, such as JR, local buses, but also walking distance to restaurants, and world tourist attractions in Koyoto. Secondly, we would like to shout out the front receptionists in Stitch Hotel. specially ‘’Thea, Yoshi,and Sumi, you girls are well trained and knowledgeable surroundinggs that gave us all the questions we requested. Once we. questioned which restaurants we wanna go, then all……

“Beautiful house with great design in really great neighborhood. For us it was okay but the stairs were very steep so keep that in mind. The bathroom is outside so not sure how comfortable this is in the winter. But it was a nicely designed bathroom and the foot bath is a great feature after a long day of walking. ”

“This is our second time staying at this place and we just love how it’s in the center of Gion district surrounded with the best food spots. We also love how close it is to shopping, nishiki market, karaoke, all the fun stuff!! The space itself is huge and the onsen is just the cherry on top after a LOOONG day of walking/exploring. It’s < 20 mins away from Kyoto station as well.”
