The aquarium’s tropical section is displayed across this magnificent glass tunnel. You might see crabs walking daintily across the ocean floor or an octopus spreading its tentacles across the glass. Spot sharks and rays cruising effortlessly through the water. Watch as aquarium keepers feed SEA LIFE’s resident sea turtle, Speedy, and find out about how these graceful creatures live in the wild.
In the aquarium’s rainforest section, look for fascinating creatures from the forest-fringed oceans of Asia. Highlights here include piranhas, boa constrictors and the playful Asian small-clawed otter. Bonnie and Clyde are the aquarium’s resident otters and are plenty of fun to watch at feeding time. If you’re feeling brave, make your way to the interactive touch pool and plunge your hands into the water to feel the different textures of sea creatures.
SEA LIFE Timmendorfer Strand is located on the resort town’s central waterfront. It is a 20-minute walk from the main railway station. The aquarium is open daily, except on Christmas Eve.
