"Beds were so old you can feel the springs, pillow was so flat that it took 3 to do the job. Room was horrible, tile wasn’t mopped, carpet wasn’t vacuumed. Shower had hair on walls. No exhaust vent in bathroom. Stinks like mold, tv don’t work, just an absolute horrible stay. "

"The location was fantastic for everything we had planned. Very quite too, even with the train tacks so close. Would be a fantastic location for train fans as you can see the trains well. After the trees fully leaf out, that may not be the case. The sun porch, facing the river, offered great views of river critters from the comfort of a recliner."

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin, our family of 4 plus a pup. We loved having coffee on the screened porch in the morning watching the river. The boys fished all 3 days. The beds are comfortable. The river is in the back yard, but it is a pretty steep incline down & back up - there are some steps but still pretty steep. We will definitely be back! "

"The best part about this property was the setting. Quiet, tranquil, close to town but not in town. The patio overlooking the river was gorgeous. Level access. Really nice firepit area but there was a burn ban in the area and it was pretty warm so we didn't use it. Super comfy bed. We didn't use the second bedroom. Low traffic area for walking pets. We went in the off season so it might get busier in the area with lots of short term rentals all around. The train going through woke me up. It's right across the road. It went through before 10 and only one night we were there and then the next day it was during the day. It wasn't a super fast or long train and I actually enjoyed watching it go through. The river is beautiful. Coffee on the patio overlooking the water is a must for summer. A couple fishing boats went by while we were there. I brought food to cook while we were there so I did make a suggestion to add a few kitchen items like foil, plastic wrap and cooking spray but we did without just fine. The recliners were at the end of life and a little rickety and hard to get out of. The property was clean, well maintained and I absolutely would recommend it AND hope to go back again. I can't see any reason a guest would regret staying here. Great communication from management. Very friendly, responsive and professional. I was most appreciative of being able to bring our dogs.
