“Clean room, easy check in and out. Quiet, quaint area. Outdoor swimming pool but we didn’t use it. Picnic tables with grill were also available. ”

“Was kinda Retro, clean and quiet. Staff kinda not helpful. Ask for extra blanket and pillows was told 4 people 4 pillows.(they were pancake flat) ask for more than 1 pkt of coffee was told 1 pk makes 4 cups. There were only 2 cups in room. Did gic 2 more pillows an 2 pks of coffee, but so stingy with ammenities.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Jacks. Room was clean, screened in porch was so nice to sit and drink coffee in the morning while looking out at the mountains and white river. All of the staff were very friendly, housekeeping was great. The food at Jojos was wonderful. Overall a great stay at Jacks. We were there for some r&r and did not fish. The drive to town was not far to listen to music in the park and on the square. Jacks was so peaceful and quiet. ”

“Excellent family get away”

“The guy at check-in (9-14-24) couldn’t answer basic questions, citing “it had been a long day”. Room was full of bugs and even dirty towels in the bathroom from the stay prior. We asked about checking out before the lobby opens because of early morning plans, and was told to drop the room keys in the drop box. At check out time, we were called numerous times from the front desk mentioning we were getting charged another night. We mentioned we followed instructions of the front desk, the……

“The stay way overall great. My only gripe is that the bed was a little rigid for my liking, but the bed served its purpose. When we were exhausted from the river trip, we fell fast asleep and was glad to have a clean bed and hotel room. So overall I definitely recommend this hotel. This is my second stay here if that tells you anything. Will definitely stay again!!”

“The door to our room would not open all the way, was dragging on the carpet. The rails along the balcony were FULL of spiderwebs, but no spiders. Everything outside was dingy. Inside the room was tolerably clean.”

“My wife and I hadn’t been to Ozark folk center in years so we decided this is what we wanted to do. This cabin didn’t look like what was in the picture when I reserved it so there was a little confusion there but once we saw the address on the driveway we felt better. After I found my email with the entry code everything got better. The cabin was clean, roomy, and well appointed. My wife particularly enjoyed the fire pit and s’mores bar.
