What a unique, historical property. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. However, the entire house looks a little tired and scruffy and in need of some deep cleaning and TLC. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty!

Thr Montague Inn is a beautiful Inn with a fascinating history. The staff was beyond helpful - even recommended a restaurant for dinner which turned out to be a wonderful meal. The grounds are gorgeous. The continental breakfast was filling - just an overall wonderful stay.

It was an outstanding experience. The Inn was beautiful and very homey. The Manager went beyond. He carried our luggage up theee flights of stairs, as of course there was not an elevator. The room was quaint and clean. The grounds were beautiful. The breakfast had so many choices and the food was delicious. I would give it 5 Stars.

Beautiful location, kind employees, great breakfast, but the house itself is in a bit of disrepair, including some of the furniture and decor, the art on the walls are aged and faded in color, even the arches and shutters of the house need basic repair and re-paintinng. Has a lot of potential to be a truly beautiful spot, but it was disappointing to see the condition.

The property was gorgeous. Our room, not so much. We were out in the cottage. It was an upstairs room, no A/C. The windows didn't have screens. It was so hot and we got filled full of bugs because had all the windows open with the fans as close to the open windows as we could get them.
