What a unique, historical property. The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. However, the entire house looks a little tired and scruffy and in need of some deep cleaning and TLC. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty!
Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Historical old inn.

Beautiful location, kind employees, great breakfast, but the house itself is in a bit of disrepair, including some of the furniture and decor, the art on the walls are aged and faded in color, even the arches and shutters of the house need basic repair and re-paintinng. Has a lot of potential to be a truly beautiful spot, but it was disappointing to see the condition.
Nice and quiet historic home in downtown Saginaw. It’s our 2nd time staying here while we attend an event at the Dow. The staff is extremely polite and the breakfast has always been great.
The rooms were beautiful and so clean. Breakfast was cute and loved hearing the people chat about whereabouts they are from. The whole experience was amazing I will definitely be back again.
Charming, comfy, and clean bed and breakfast with a great staff. The room was a great size that had everything you need. We had a great nights rest and woke up and had a delicious breakfast downstairs in the beautiful dining room. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful historic inn with wonderful staff, gorgeous rooms, and a big lovely yard. They do events and weddings, too. Hot breakfast was great! Walking distance from Saginaw Childrens Zoo, Japanese Cultural Center/Gardens. Not far from Old Town Saginaw for food/shopping. Downtown area was nice, too. Would def recommend this inn and would stay again!
The Montague Inn is absolutely beautiful. It's an historic home that has been turned into a lovely hotel, with a sweeping staircase when you enter the entryway, a library with a hidden closet, a dining area, well maintained back patio filled with flowering planters and overhead lights, to name a few. My room was quite comfortable, located in the carriage house at the back of the main house. I can easily see a wedding/reception being held here as the grounds were well maintained.
The only downfall, for me, was the fact that there were no charging outlets in the room I was in. And the hours for the continental breakfast only had a 2 hour window.
Other than that, I would highly recommend this inn.
This was living in Downton Abbey for the night. It is a beautiful inn built in 1929, Our room was huge with beautiful antiques and linens; the bath was spacious and elegant. There were not many guests the night we stayed so breakfast was a modest continental offering, but it was served in a delightful breakfast room overlooking a flowered patio and gorgeous grounds. We had arrived early enough in the evening to enjoy reading in the library for few hours before bed. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.
From the time we were greeted by Sourab through out the entire stay was beyond incredible. Naomi was outstanding with her knowledge, kindness and any help needed. Benjamin was a great asset to maintaining breakfast, caring for the grounds and his friendliness was very welcoming. We got to also meet Melissa in the morning that was busy as a bee with all her duties. This place is remarkable and I must say the 4 people we met caring for your property are a Class A+ and truly make this place what it has become with the way guests are treated with the top notch care and respect. What a excellent team you have! The world needs more of these people to run their business. Because of them we will be returning to have a reunion for my family. It's not always the place itself you stay at but the staff who sincerely takes excellent care of the guests. Please thank them from us.
Charming, super friendly and very accommodating staff, quiet, clean, wonderful home made hot breakfast, great selection and quality of meal selections.
