"The room is compact and basic. There is a door in the floor below that is constantly open and shut through the evening and started again at 5.30am this causes the building infrastructure and bed to vibrate and make a noise similar to weights being drops from a height! Very hard to sleep! Great location and ok for a 1 night. Goat kitchen adjacent for bar drinks and food in the town. Use church carpark for parking free 8pm to 8am so you need to buy a ticket AM if hanging around simple easy...

"Our hostess was lovely. Good communication before our stay, clear instructions, and a good welcome with just enough information but not too much. The beds were comfortable, the en suite room clean, homely, roomy and provided with a small fridge and microwave plus crockery, cutlery etc which made our lives a lot easier. Very good breakfasts, she cooked our choices of eggs to perfection! All in all a great stay and worth the extra drive from the family members we were visiting half an hour or so away. We will definitely return. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful week at Ridge Hill Manor together with our greater family. The house and garden are beautiful, and there are lovely dog walks from the house in all directions. East Grinstead is only a few minutes drive away, yet the location feels very rural. Conveniently situated for days out at places like Standen House, Chartwell and Glyndebourne. Pete was very helpful and communication easy. The only things we missed were a history of the house (which we got via WhatsApp after asking) and maybe a few more kitchen utensils (like for example a water jug). We would all love to come back!"
