The property is in a good place, a short walk from the old town. If you are away for longer than a few days the standard rooms are small. We had problems with locking the safe and the tv. The issue with the safe was resolved the next day but the problem with the tv was not resolved. There was a space for a fridge in our room but no fridge. We were advised some rooms have fridges others do not, ours did not. In the hot weather that is not great. That said it was an impressive building a conversion of a building with history, the staff were really helpful, great restaurant recommendations and other tips for the area. Overall we had a good stay

I didn’t have many options on hotels and went with this one and what a treat. The location is fantastic. I had a sea view room with balcony and it was such a delight to be able to open the doors and take in the fresh air and sounds of revelry. I was there for less than 24 hours and I got a chance to hike up both cliffs and wander through the town. Cannot beat the convenience factor. I’m impressed by how the closed doors blocked out so much of the noise. That said, there’s no air conditioning so if you want cooler room temps you’ll need to open the door. Luckily the night was mild enough that I was able to leave the door closed. The bed itself isn’t that comfortable. That doesn’t bother me because the view and convenient location more than made up for it. The staff is wonderful.
