“I paid extra for a bigger room, but the receptionist gave me a small standard one. When I demanded a refund, he rudely refused and said they don’t do refunds. He was extremely rude and unhelpful. Only after I made a scene did he finally give me the upgraded room — which didn’t even have a fridge, although it was supposed to. Terrible service!”

“One site (can’t remember) listed it as a 3 star property. Wish I had questioned that, bc it’s 2 stars. And there were definitely nicer (and cleaner!) 2 star properties alongside (like Microtel). Staff were super nice, but the carpet on the elevator was pretty gross. Our room was clean, but the whole floor (including the room) smelled strongly of cigarettes. And the hallways were creepy dark.”

“I booked this hotel because they had a pool. When I got there they told me the pool was closed down for waiting on parts. I was not happy with that”

“We had a very short stay at this spark. We arrived after midnight and were welcomed politely by Michelle (I think that was her name). The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple (being a spark and not a regular Hilton), but had plenty to fill our bellies before getting back on the road. … bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, juice. There’s a coffee bar available all day. Check out was quick and the person checking us out was polite, too.”
