“This old hotel received a nice makeover. While the structural items will likely need more work in the future everything else looks new. Very well equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed, new flooring and carpets, new furniture. The price makes it an unbearable choice. We'll be back. ”

“Although this place is a little more expensive, it is a beautiful unit. They even had a personalized message for me when I checked in my room. This place is very dog friendly. Unfortunately the room was pretty hot and the air-conditioning was down for service. I like my room cool at night. That was the only issue. Everything else was great. Staff was friendly and my room was very clean and comfortable. If you’re a dog owner or even if you’re not, I do recommend this place.”

Guests should note (and it's clear on the listing so we knew what we were getting into) that the property is about 20 minutes' drive from downtown Ucluelet, so the drive home after dinner in town is on a dark and narrow road, with deer to watch out for.”
