“An absolutely amazing cabin in the mountains. I can’t even properly describe how beautiful the stay was. Our host was extremely helpful for our whole stay. Kitchen was great and has what you need, outdoor wood bbq was also great. It gets cold at night but there are lots of heaters and blankets. 10/10 on everything! ”

“We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. ”

“The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but……

“My wife & I enjoyed our stay at Rocka Verde Retreat so very much. The home in it self is an attraction. By far the most unique property we have ever stayed at. Who looks at four big boulders & says I think I'll build a house around them. ....& he made it work. Also loved the deck over the river, so peaceful. We were so secluded.
