Overall a great experience

Súper clean all the time

Our room was lovely and the hotel has a nice courtyard. It's only 2 blocks from the zocalo which is very convenient. But, our room was right off the courtyard and was often noisy when people were in the restaurant. However, it was quiet at night. It's a beautiful building, and of the 4 hotels we stayed in in Mexico it did the best job of trying not to use an endless supply of single use plastic water bottles. Instead we were given a glass bottle for drinking water. We also stayed in another hotel in Oaxaca that was about ½ the price, further from Zocalo, but nicer facility overall with pool. And, breakfast was included. In my opinion Casa de Sierra Azul is nice but overpriced.

Our stay was nothing short of incredible. Eli and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, coordinate our dinners and experiences. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Room is clean. Staff was nice. Pretty rooms. Pretty area.
