"This hotel was family-friendly and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to book excursions through the hotel and spa services as well. There is an aviary on site with macaws, peacocks and other birds. The is a stable on site as well. We were able to go horseback riding on the beach. There are three restaurant choices in addition to the buffet and snack bar. Reservations need to be made a day in advance in order to have dinner at the steakhouse, sushi restaurant, and Italian restaurant. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there although it is quite far from the San Jose airport. It is a two hour drive on the toll road, one hour on the ferry and another 20-30 minutes to the resort. If you don’t mind the traveling, you should book there."

"Excellent location. Beautiful grounds and pools. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Service and food were excellent. It's a fantastic value for the price. I highly recommend this resort. I will go back there."
