"We had a very nice stay in the Manatee room, which was very spacious and well appointed; the room was much nicer in person than shown in the online pictures - a nice treat. There was a nice roomy balcony overlooking the beach / water. The room had a full kitchen that was very functional and there was a Publix grocery store a short taxi / car ride away. The on property restaurant had several good fish dishes and a variety of breakfast offerings. The staff were all polite and helpful during our stay. Recommended if you are looking for a “Caribbean rustic” stay on the beach. "

"Our family of six had a wonderful stay at Casa de La Vista. The house was located in a quiet part of the peninsula. We did several excursions from the house. Our kids made the best of the beach with the sargassum and used the pool every day. The house was well equipped. I'm pretty sure we used everything at least once, including board games. We cooked most of our meals at the house. It had all the basics. We would definitely stay at Casa de La Vista again. Christine was easy to reach and answered our questions as they came up."

"The home was great - just as pictured and described. Very clean. Our host was outstanding with great recommendations and advice, including arranging a van to pick up our group at the airport and deliver us back at the end of the trip. We rented a mid-sized SUV that was delivered to the house and picked up there afterward. Recommend that vs. golf cart at this location."

"Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay."
