Beautiful Home

The house was just as it was described. It was only two blocks away from Seaside shops. The private beach was clean and had security. Will definitely be back.

It was easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Our kids really enjoyed the family pool and wading pools which were just the right depth for them.

Its five bedrooms make it ideal for larger families, especially those with young children. However, the shared bathrooms on both floors would be less suitable for older children. We have stayed in multiple other homes in Seaside and this one was a standout due to the spacious screened-in porch. It allowed the family to utilize the outdoor space throughout the day. The home's location was great (close to beach, town, and the playground) and its condition was good.

Fun beach vacation - walkable area

We stayed 6 days and enjoyed ourselves. The house had plenty of room and a large screened in porch. The property management company was excellent.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Seaside experience and we have vacationed there for 10+ years. We did have issues with the door code (3 new codes for the week) and plumbing issues with slow drains. Had a shower handle problem with maintenance promptly repairing it. Disappointed that we were not aware we would be sharing a washer/dryer with other units. Main Refrigerator did not have all the shelves in the door and made storage difficult. Great AC units, enjoyed the kitchen layout and loved the large porch and location of the unit the most. Very convenient to everything.

Fantastic Location

This home is perfectly located! One street over from the square and steps away from the entrance to the fitness center and pool. The beach entrance is soooo close. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. And the screened in porch is amazing! The rooms are small but comfortable. Plenty of linens. The kitchen has everything you need—plenty of place settings, drip coffee maker, one serving Keurig, blender and lots of pots and pans. There aren’t any plastic storage containers for left overs so bring those with you if you plan on cooking for yourself some days. There were only two negatives—the kitchen sink sprayer needs to be repaired. It is difficult to get it to turn off most of the time. So don’t use it until it is repaired. The listing says “no pets” but it was obvious the house had certainly had pets before our visit. We found clumps of animal hair in the corners of the living room and the front bedroom had animal hair on the pillows. We laundered the linens in that room and moved on. The corners of the home and under the couches and beds could use a good cleaning. FYI, the laundry facility for the house is under the Hideaway cottage in its own little room. It is not in the Drift Away house. Communication with the rental agent was great. He/she was timely and kind. We would certainly stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Service was good. House was very small for what was advertised. We were under the assumption that the suite was a separate building. While there was room for everyone in our party of 9 to place their head the common living space was abysmally small. There was just no where to go.... And there are not enough bathrooms without having to traverse the living room. We have been coming to Seaside for 12+ years. Would not rent this home again for our size family.

Answers our questionsWe couldn’t find the washer and dryer- at the carriage house. This house had very small bedrooms but there are tons of them- be sure and look in the dresser upstairs for games. About a block and half away from the beach -easy walk. The porch is absolutely fantastic!

Reviewer Comments: We wanted to love this place but the cookware needs replacing, the house is really dirty i.e. mold in showers, ice maker in one fridge didn’t work. washing machine so moldy we couldn’t use it. i asked repeatedly for it to be cleaned and the mildew spray your people supposedly applied did nothing. the repair guy said it was stain and no homeowner wouldpay for a new belt. i personally bought vinegar and bleach and cleaned it forour use. it is not the tier you advertise it as. one parking space for a 5 bedroom house is not enough either.

Delightful stay in perfect location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was everything you’d want form a beach house, just off the beach. The location was incredible. Usually rent a golf cart but didn’t have to there. The big kids could walk or ride bikes everywhere. The walk to the beach was 5 minutes loaded down and all. The beach access is just down the street and has amenities that make the transition to and from the beach nice. Highly recommend. Rooms aren’t huge but we didn’t go to stay in the bedrooms. Everything was clean and functional.
