"Parking was good. The bed was ok. I was so tired I could have slept on the floor. There was no outside advertising light for the property. Air conditioner was a window unit and it was ok after I plugged in my personal fan. I wanted a shower but the condition of the tub was off putting. I don't usually stay in no name brand hotels, but as this one was advertised as the "historic" Route 66 I thought there would be memorabilia and furnishings from the heyday of Route 66. "It's the place to stay in Fort Sumner. Check in and checkout was easy. The room was great and the breakfast was good for what they had. Also near Billy the Kid's tombstone/visitor center."

"24 hr diner was great! Staff at check in was very helpful, going above and beyond getting my reservation corrected. Building is showing its age, but the room was in good shape, clean and comfortable."
