My granddaughter and I loved our weeklong stay at Seahorse Cottage to celebrate her 13th birthday. The pool was lovely, and we were only 100 steps from the entrance to the beach. What a great location! The beach was quiet and uncrowded... white sugar sand and clear turquoise waters within a very short walk from our cheery yellow cottage. We could also walk 1/2 mile to Pine Ave. shops which I highly recommend for teens. Two Scoops for ice cream was a favorite. It was a 10-15 minute drive to Publix for groceries which was handy. And we loved Coquina Beach Market (a 20 min. drive) on Wed., Fri., and Sat. in June. The cottage was spacious, and we cooked most of our meals in its kitchen. Comfy bed, nice big closet, and a wonderful sectional which my granddaughter loved lounging on. Clean bathroom with a good shower. I really appreciated the onsite washer and dryer and the wagons, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs left behind in the garage from other visitors that we could use. It was the perfect beach vacation. Everything we needed in a great place. Our hostess, Deb, answered our needs immediately. It was our first time on Anna Maria Island, and this was a great place to stay.
