We had an excellent couple of nights at this beautiful bed-and-breakfast. It’s conveniently located near Forsyth Park and the trolley line. We pretty much walked everywhere including down to the river. We had wonderful meals out and we also had amazing meals at the bed-and-breakfast. We especially enjoyed our encounters with Larry the chef. He was so pleasant and personable. And his food was delicious. I didn’t catch the gal who cooked this morning, but her breakfast was incredible. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had. I enjoyed sitting outside by the pool reading a book as well. Our room was spacious, there were a couple of chairs that were comfortable, and the bed was super comfy. The shower was nice and spacious. Everything was really clean and we had a lovely time.

Great place that just exudes the history and romance of Savannah. The staff was fantastic, starting with our late arrival, and during our stay. Breakfasts were delicious and huge, with options for just some grab and go. Location was great - close enough to wonderful restaurants and Forsyth Park, yet just enough away from traffic and noise. Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised by how great the staff was as well as how nice the Inn was. We were shown the property upon arriving, including when the happy hour was. We met some of the nicest travelers from Germany, Tennessee, as Panama! It was a fun bunch of people to meet. The best part was the breakfast; praline pancakes! So delicious! John Earl was such a gracious host. We’d definitely recommend a stay at the Azelea.

I thoroughly enjoyed the property, service, and amenities of historic Azalea Inn in Savannah, GA. The breakfasts, snacks, etc were wonderful! The only suggestion I offer is to improve the hot water shower system. It was never cool or cold, but never fully hot either.

Older property, like most properties in Savannah. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable bed. The Live Oak Canopy room was nice. We had our own covered deck with pool view and the grand oak tree! It is pay parking , unless you’re lucky enough to get street parking.
