Family Trip

My siblings and I were looking for a quiet place to spend some time with our mother, and this place was perfect. The Sawyer Cottage was very nicely decorated and felt warm and inviting. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean. There was plenty of space for us to gather and spend time together. I definitely plan to stay again.

Quiet Michigan Family Getaway

We really enjoyed the area. Great restaurants, close to the beach, and independent shops. The house was clean and perfect for our family. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit!

Summer Stay in Sawyer

Beautiful wooded property with wild turkeys and deer sightings! Pool, hot tub, tetherball kept us entertained and owner was very helpful with any questions that arose. Well-stocked kitchen and clean throughout. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Home!

We had a lovely stay for our girls weekend. Property was extremely clean, host was kind, check in and out was very simple. Decor was adorable too! We felt right at home and would definitely stay here again.

Great cottage with lots of extra touches

Fantasy Draft getaway

Awesome place for a 9 person middle age man fantasy football draft. Pool and hot tub are perfect. Great yard. House was cozy. Cathy was an awesome host. 5 stars!

Summer getaway!

Great house in quiet neighborhood close to all that Southwest Michigan has to offer. Beautifully decorated house, very clean, and full of amenities! Highly recommend this house for a family or group of friends!!

Great secluded home! Loved the pool.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Sawyer Cottage. Deer and turkeys (and many other birds) in the yard each day. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub. Super quick drive to the beach.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The property was amazing. We had so much fun in the pool and my children loved to see all of the wildlife that visited the yard. The house was clean and wonderfully appointed. The owners were easy to get in touch with. We'd love to stay here again.

Wonderful Home for Family Fun!

We had a great stay at the home in Sawyer. The house really matched the photos and descriptions. It is beautifully decorated, in great condition and really setup for family fun with a big backyard, beautiful pool and great deck. The location was convenient to the dunes, and other area attractions. We could not have had a better stay!

Great Find

Modern cottage with lots of space. The heated pool and hot tub were great. Nice wooded area with lots of wildlife nearby. Very close to Warren Dunes State Park and a number of places to eat. Host was very responsive to requests and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy our stay.

We loved Sawyer Cottage!

The house was so cute and very well done! The hot tub was perfect for the weather and we enjoyed the surprise karaoke machine! Cathy gave us a very thorough list of places to go and we visited many of them. It was a very fun girls trip!!

Beautiful cottage!

We all loved our stay. The pool and hot tub were a plus. The beaches were close and beautiful. A lot of outdoor space to spread out. We had a fire and s'mores while catching lightening bugs. Our little ones had so much fun. The wild life was fun to watch across the front yard. Many pool toys and yard games to enjoy. We would love to come back.

Perfect for wine trip!

Sawyer Cottage is so cute! This property is the perfect place to stay for a wine weekend! Backyard/patio has fire pit, hot tub, pool and outdoor seating that will keep you everyone entertained! Lots of opportunities to see wildlife like deer and turkeys roaming around too!! Loved it!

Beautiful cottage in great location

Quiet, wooded neighbourhood. Cottage has excellent facilities including pool and hot tub. Cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, with tasteful decor. Warren Dunes state park with beautiful beaches 5 minutes away. We didn't want to leave!

great place for a wonderful dunes adventure

Cathy's house is decorated beautifully both inside and out. The yard is amazing and it was so much fun to share it with the humming birds, the turkeys and the deer. The pool was great and we were five minutes from the dunes. Cathy is a wonderful hostess and communication was excellent.

Quiet, very clean modern home

The house had everything we needed ...grandma, 2 moms and 5 kids (3-9). Very clean and modern. Close to 3 very nice beaches and the pool was a hit after the beach. Nice bakery and coffee shops close by. Close to bigger towns of New Buffalo and St. Joseph. Great for a shirt or longer stay.

Girls get away

All the girls loved this house. I had a great time cooking for them with a well equipped kitchen. The beds we comfy. The decor was so cute. The hot tub was a hot little upset we didn’t get to use the pool (it’s not open yet). But we will def be coming back.

Couldn’t be better!

This home and Cathy (host) were amazing! I stayed here with some friends for a weekend and it was perfect. The home is adorable, spotless, and has the best amenities. It is also only about 15 minutes to downtown New Buffalo, so it was easy for us to go there for bars and restaurants. Cathy was amazing to work with! I definitely plan on coming back in the future. Highly recommend!

Gals wine weekend

We loved the house! Clean, cozy and private home. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds and all the needed amenities. We now plan to do this as a yearly girls trip and will definitely use this home again! Only thing we would have liked was a later checkout time, 11:00 instead of 10:00. Thank you!

Sweet 16th Birthday

The house was immaculately, cozy and comfortable. Our visit timing just missed the fall colors. The host was able and kind to accommodate my date switch due to unforeseen circumstances. My guests LOVED the hot tub and plenty of places to visit nearby or meander through the grounds and take in all the wildlife.
