The customer service while staying was terrible! We had children in both rooms next to ours that kept us up for two nights. We asked to have our room switched, but the front desk informed us there weren’t any available after making us wait to get back to us for hours. My son made a reservation the same day without a problem for a room meaning it was a lie and they didn’t WANT to accommodate the room change. We checked out early and stayed elsewhere to get sleep.

It was fine and I expected better than just fine as it’s a resort. Also some of the staff was down right rude. You’d walk up and before you even said anything they would snap at you, I’ll be with you in a minute! Like you had been rude or impatient and you literally just walked up. It was weird and happened at a couple locations. There were glasses out by the bench that were there for 3 days, no one bothered to take care of them. Like I said it was fine. But being a resort and the price point, I expect more than just fine.

For what the cost is for this property it’s definitely not worth the cost. As hot and humid as it was you think they would make sure ice machines were in working order as they sent me to different floors to find some. Room service never available. The hotel food was not very good. Our fruit was moldy along with pastries being stale. The pool area was nice and clean and their service in pool area was great. The extra charges now with hotels are just ridiculous.

I was in and out for business travel. The lack of room service after a late night in, and on an early morning, was unfortunate. The coffee "pot" made disgusting coffee. The room was comfortable and clean, which was good. I did not interact with any staff.

I stayed at this property 20 years ago, and returned to northern Michigan for vacation for the first time since. It was exactly how I remembered it. Beautiful, peaceful property, with lots of activities. We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our room and it was spacious and decorated perfect. The Aerie restaurant was beautiful with panoramic views. The staff was extremely friendly. The pools and hot tubs were perfect for a peaceful evening activity. The hotel is great for a romantic getaway, but also family oriented. We will be back again

Room was OK but pricey. The toilet "rocked" when you sat on it and the shower drain was recessed so much from the shower tile floor that someone could get injured stepping on it improperly (room 1160). The view was nice from the tower room (11th floor).
