"PROCEED WITH CAUTION! Neighborhood is not safe and the property's renovations need to be completed from a safety and privacy perspective. I did not feel comfortable staying there. So much so upon check-in I decided to leave and found other accommodations elsewhere. Had I known the issues prior, I would never have booked the property. I'm very disappointed that when I asked the host if the area was safe, I was told it was. So I booked. The check-in instructions include a long security paragraph...

"We loved the house ! Warm and cozy! The beds were so comfortable . We enjoyed cooking in and the kitchen had everything we needed . Loved walking on the frozen lake and playing with the pups. Plenty of space for games and relaxing. Kyle was an amazing host! Responded to a couple questions within minutes . We plan on coming back and enjoying the lake in the summer. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only area that was perfect was the outside stairs to the front door— uneven, steep, etc. We had older guest with us and this was concerning. But we managed.
