"My flight was delayed, so I didn’t arrived until 2:30am, the desk attendant was not there but a note that said to drop my key if I was checking out. After a short wait, I was checked in. This property will be much better in a couple of months, they are currently renovating. "

"Stay was great. We arrived late but the garage door was open and the path was clear to the suite. The suite was clean and quite large. My only true complaint was that there was no blind near the window next to the door and it faced out. But that aside it was great host was responsive even late at nights and told us where to park."

"Ari at the reception desk was 5 STARS! I talked to her by phone, probably 6 months ahead of our arrival, as I had plenty of questions regarding the location, and our planned attendance of the Ryder Cup in NY. She was spot on then, and made it a point to introduce herself upon our arrival. Also, our bartender in the restaurant was extremely helpful with recommendations and service. The food was also great, as we had dinner there twice."

"Wow. We can't recommend the house highly enough. It was spacious, clean, full of light, lots of places to sit inside and outside, lots and lots of toys and activities for kids. The library was reason enough for a visit. Beautiful house, beautiful grounds. Large dining room, lots of bathrooms. We had a great experience and would love to visit again. "

"Our host, Olga, could not have been more welcoming! The pool and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The location of Zen House is convenient to wonderful restaurants and Whole Foods. The interior space is perfect for couples. Olga has provided many thoughtful amenities. We look forward to booking again in the future. Truly a unique experience!"

"Every step of the way from initial inquiries to farewell messages was a delight. Questions were kindly and promptly answered, and that gave us a lot of peace of mind about our stay even before we arrived.The Ice Cream cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. All the little things that make traveling a breeze are here: plenty of (shaded!) parking, easy access, great air conditioning (we visited in the summer), wonderful wifi, impeccable cleanliness, fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and luxurious towels.For a "small" cottage, the layout is perfect for families. There are plenty of comfortable places for everyone to relax together or alone.We were looking for a place where our dogs would be welcome and have space to play. The Ice Cream cottage is a dream come true! The huge fenced-in yard was dog heaven and a delight for the humans, too--not a sign of a pesky gnat or mosquito! Over three days and many hours outside with the dogs, we never found a single tick. The covered porch was perfect for relaxing meals as the dogs safely explored the yard.New Canaan has plenty of options for delicious food, and while we did get takeaway one night, we prepared our own food the rest of the time. There are great market choices from large chains to an excellent local grocery store. We needed an urgent pharmacy visit at 3:00 a.m. during our visit, and there is a 24-hour CVS only 20 minutes away.We're looking forward to visiting again!"
