Good value in an expensive locale. Friendly staff, decent coffee. Bedding is the weak point--inadequate pillows, so-so mattress. But it's a fine place to stay when you just need to crash for one or two nights.

The room was clean but dated. The staff was pleasant. We suffered congestion when we turned the A/C on, suggesting mold. We had to turn it off and open a window, but that was noisy with the nearby train and highway. There were only two, thin pillows so we would bring our own if staying again.

Condition of carpets in room, elevator and hallways was terrible. Carpets are worn down the to the threads and coloring is gone. Toilet paper dispenser is barley attached to side of sink cabinet and is rusted out. Mattress on bed is very lumpy and hard. Pillows are very thin and uncomfortable.
