"Terrible check in experience. The hotel said they didn’t have my hotel.com booking (I had booked around 4 hours earlier). Receptionist was very unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. The lady at reception didn’t offer any advice other than to buy a new room and left me sat in reception for an hour whilst I tried to contact hotels.com on the phone, she didn’t offer me even the glint of a smile, a glass of water, an apology, nothing, instead she treated me like I was trying to steal a free nights stay even though I had a confirmation email with all details on. Terrible customer service experience. I booked this hotel specifically because it had a gym which I didn’t get to use as it had closed by the time I got to my room. A smile and a “don’t worry we’ll help sort it” would have gone a very long way. Lacking some very basic customer service skills. "

"Nice friendly staff the room was nice basic breakfast the dinner was average free carparking nice swimming pool and spa was cold not heating up sauna and steam room was working. "

"Clean room. The entrance door needs oil. My room was close, and it was a bit of a nuisance squeaking until everyone went to sleep."

"Long term stay for a work trip. Staff make you feel welcome and the rooms are comfortable. Cleaned and replenished daily and lovely views over the golf course. Food in the restaurant is really good. Will be booking again when in the area again. "

"Black mould on the bathroom tiles, coffee machine not working. Lady at breakfast was most efficient and friendly. Spa bath was lukewarm and not working!"
