The room was very clean!

My husband and I stayed here for a quick, romantic getaway and even with high expectations, we were not disappointed! The property is immaculately kept up, the views are stunning, the main area has a wall of windows overlooking the ocean and plenty of seating, with the restaurant bar conveniently situated right there so you can grab a drink and enjoy the view. The weather when we got there was terrible, but that almost made it more special, because of the coziness of it all. The small, nautical-themed touches throughout the property were well thought of and did not cross the line to being "too much." We did not use the outside pool or hot tub, even though they were heated, but we saw a lot of people wandering around outside in their hotel robes and slippers, and clearly enjoying it. The next morning, we awoke to blue skies and calm seas, with the sun glistening off the water, and we enjoyed some breakfast sandwiches from the Bald Head Coffee shop. Again, super friendly staff. After walking down to the rocks and enjoying the salt air, we reluctantly packed up our bags to go home. I think this will become an annual tradition.

IT WAS CHARMING AND BEAUTIFUL. The restaurant was wonderful, all the staff was first class, would love to go back.
