This was a wonderful first experience with a B & B. The hosts were amazing. The breakfast was FANTASTIC. The house fun and quirky. These guys know how to decorate for a holiday.... Halloween in our case.

The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. No tv, but that's a good thing, right?! Ez parking. Unfortunately, the excellent restaurant was closed on Wed, the day I was there

This hotel is in the perfect location to walk to everything around the waterfront. I had a really late check in because of a delayed flight and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portland!

I love this place! Check in is always smooth and the staff is always friendly. I really like the room set up with the separate living space from the sleeping space, and also a separate full kitchen area. Breakfast is included and always good with a large variety to choose from. They also have a free light supper a few nights a week. I sleep so well as the mattress and pillows are wonderful. The toiletries are nice and the towels are thick. This was truly an outstanding experience. The accommodations and the staff were excellent.
The hotel is walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. From the front desk to the doormen, all were polite, friendly and eager to recommend venues.
The hotel restaurant was one of the best I had been to in a long time. We hadn't planned on eating there but we're so glad we did.

very friendly staff. Room was clean, comfortable and big.
Valet was expensive ($40/night)
I think the valet may have caused a small dent in the drive car door (brand new car, 5 miles on it)

Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation...

The room was very nice. It was on the 11th floor. However, the view was not great. It stated harbor view but it was a view of the back bay area. The breakfast was really good. Very fresh fruit and friendly, attentive staff.
