Great view, parking on street was easy, easy to get to different events, great shopping at Safeway--

The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking Utensils--I could have used 1 more fry pan. Appreciated the use of the laundry--maybe have more bath towels for those of us who stay over a week. The only things that we had problems with was all the stairs & the tv was hard to get to find stations.

Fun little house for our girls weekend! It had everything we needed and was in a great location for visiting downtown and Mt. Rainier. Plus, the view from the back of the house is beautiful to wake up to or watch the sunset.

Beautiful Location but be warned

This is a BEAUTIFUL little house - the location and view are so worth being on the edge of the city but be warned - the comfort level is low.This is by far the best equipped home I’ve ever stayed in. You’ll want for nothing in terms of supplies including all the condiments. The furniture, however, is worn, sparse and not comfortable. The beds are the worst and the pillows feel like cardboard. Not good enough for the price and not worthy of such a wonderful house. Despite the comfort level, we LOVED our stay. The garden and the deck were everything.

Nice Neighborhood, Accurate Listing

There's not much to say about this listing that has already not been said. Super Clean, Communication is friendly and immediate. The neighborhood is nice, lots of trees, plants everywhere, We're from Texas and one thing we liked no mosquitoes. The drive into Seattle from West Seattle is easy. Lots of coffee shops and grocery stores very close. Temperatures were starting to get warm in June, but nights were cool. We used the house as our home base while visiting the city, Mount Rainer, Olympic National Park, Picks Place, and more. All appliances were in good working order and the kitchen had everything you'd need. Street parking is available just up the steps as pictured on the listing. A few things to consider... If you need a washer and dryer on site there is not one here and it is listed appropriately. The other is there is only one bathroom. We were a group of 3 and it was never a problem. Lastly the steps in the pictures are accurate, if you have mobility issues or need a wheel chair it might be rough. Overall spectacular listing and gracious management. Nights on the deck were perfect. When entering the house there are little notes/stickers everywhere explaining odds an ends of the house. The host has provided a directory, on the table, with local suggestions and travel needs. I cannot say enough about the location and cleanliness of the house.

West Seattle hidden gem

This property is such a delight to stay at. Beautiful views of the Olympics, ferry boats and puget sound. Everything you need in the kitchen to make it feel like home. Will definitely come back to stay again.

Close Enough - But Quiet Enough

great little location in West Seattle. Within striking distance of downtown Seattle (via water taxi) and within walking distance of West Seattle eateries, etc, but far enough away to avoid all the noise of night life. Recommend it highly and will stay here again when in the area.

Good stay, accurate listing

We've stayed in many older homes and this was one of the better ones as it was well heated. The trampoline was a nice touch and the kids loved that. I did think the home was closer to the ocean (15-20min walk), so clarifying that would be nice, but otherwise a good stay.

Charming home with thoughtful touches

Michelle was very helpful and communicative from the start. Everything was labeled clearly in the house and there were several thoughtful conveniences. The loaner backpacks, umbrellas, and charging cords were helpful. The door is a little tricky. ;) But those things happen in an older home. We would definitely stay here again.

Alki Beach

The house is beautiful but comfortable. Very clean and well stocked with necessary dishes and such in kitchen. The view is absolutely amazing of the mountains and the water. The owner was very good at answering questions quickly. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

Girlfriends weekend getaway

Had such an amazing time. The house is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood and gorgeous view of the bay. We spent 90% of our time on the deck. We even got to see the Northern Lights. I would come back in a heartbeat. One of my best experiences yet.

Beautiful home with even more beautiful views.

Gorgeous views, beautiful neighborhood, perfect for walks or runs. My only cautions-NOT criticisms-are that if anyone in your party has mobility issues or difficulty with stairs, understand that the house is built on the side of a hill and there must be stairs to make it work. Also, no washer or dryer, but found a coin laundry only a few minutes away.
