The ad for the room on Expedia called it a double room king bed. I guess that means small room with one king bed. Pretty misleading name of the room. They had no other rooms to switch to. Hotel was cool, small small pool but that was the only big property problem. Bad/misleading Expedia ad was an issue.

House keeping doesn’t come change your sheets or clean your room daily. You have to ask them to come clean and I don’t think they even wash everything. I asked for new blankets and sheets before I left for the day and I came back that night to find the blanket still being dirty. For it being so expensive they should be more thorough. Fridge was broken and outlets in bathroom didn’t even work. Most of the receptionist weren’t friendly or inviting. The kitchen staff in the morning when serving breakfast were so polite friendly and greeted you with good mornings. Better customer service in my eyes. I wouldn’t come back here. I’d probably go stay at the Hilton up the street since prices over there weren’t much of a difference.

Property and rooms a very dated and not very ADA compliant. Had stay as an emergency due to water damage in my home. Had to displace my 89 year old mother whose home/ bathroom is ADA adapted. Toilet in hotel was too low. When asked to change to an ADA room was told they didn’t have one…that’s against a federal law. They provided/installed an attachment to the toilet that raised the height. That helped but still disturbed about no ADA compliance. The staff was wonderful but Hampten Suites needs to do better.

$15 for parking. When I got the paper for parking at the front desk, they never once said anything about $15 charge for parking, it’s not something I agreed for them to charge my card for.
