It was my second stay at Studio Zen in Kirkland , Seattle, and hopefully many more times. It is perfect for 1 or two people as it is small but so filled with a 5 star comfort as Barbara thought of everything. Just lovely.Thank you Barbara! Irene
She has heated floors on this winter night to keep me warm besides the heavy duty bed covers, but also this heated stove fireplace made the room warm & toasty

Peaceful Spot

We stayed a week and were very comfortable. The patio and backyard are a welcomed space to sit and relax. The host is responsive and clearly wants to make your stay enjoyable. We highly recommend the unit when staying in the Kirkland area.

Perfect spot

We absolutely loved our stay here. There's some essentials near by and the city is not too far. The space has everything we needed for 2 people and the host is fantastic. Nice, clean, pretty, and a heck of a shower!

Very cute small apartment in Suburban Seattle

It's not big, but it is comfortable and cozy, and Barb was a very gracious host. Very comfortable bed and luxury shower, together with a nice patio outside was all we really needed. We will be back the next time we visit!

Attention to every detail!

This room was just perfect for my stay. First afternoon, I spent time on the lovely patio. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. Bed was very comfortable. Nice alternative to a hotel room! Close to everything that I needed on the east side!

Nice and quiet, and relaxing.

Barb was the perfect host for this property. She was there with anything I needed. This small property was perfect for me since I was traveling by myself. Two people could fit. There is outside seating that you can use as well. I will definitely stay here if I have another trip to the area.

Great 1st Vrbvo

Barbara's zen next was great. Great room, great bed, great shower. Unfortunately, due to weather, was not able to enjoy the backyard, but, if you are there during good weather, take my word for it. You will surely enjoy it.

I had a great time here and I highly recommend it for people who want to get away and have a nice and quiet place to stay. 100 times better than the most expensive hotels I stay at in the past. But that is just me, some people like luxury. I like real. This is the real deal....

Nicely renovated studio in quiet neighborhood

Our stay was perfectly comfortable. Barb was thoughtful about what we might need; she provided coffee & tea, a mini fridge, and checked in to ask whether we needed anything else. The space is very small, but that was fine as we were out and about all day and just needed a place to sleep. The unit is attached to the larger house but has plenty of privacy thanks to a separate entrance. It’s a short drive to downtown Kirkland. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful oasis within close proximity to freeways and DT Kirkland

I’m joining the fan club for the shower head and bed! In all seriousness, this was a cozy and homey place to stay. The unit’s layout was well thought out and maximized the space available. The unit was clean and all amenities were top of the line. There was an outdoor area where we could sit outside and enjoy our meals. Barb and Bella were the most gracious and thoughtful hosts. Will be back!
