Very cozy and warm experience.
Really love the loft, my sons are small enough to allow the 3 of us to squeeze in together. The sound of pouring torrential rain on the roof was so awesome. We were thrilled! They have Netflix too. Just be aware that the pub next door has their music loud and it can be heard at night. Would stay here again if the opportunity comes. Ray.

Sechelt cabins
First impression was it could have been cleaner. We saw cleaners leave but deck was full of leaves, no mat at door on inside so floor was getting wet as we were unloading our stuff, we compromised with paper towel. Carpet up the stairs is stained, couch could use a cleaning, not enough mugs in the cupboard for 4 guests (mugs all chipped), only a small couch, no chairs, only seating for 2, shower head is way too big for the shower and in a weird position, blinds did not work well. On the other hand, beds were comfortable. Weather was not good while we were there, location would have been great if the sun was out. Overall, we made due and had a great time.

We did not have the code to open door when we arrived. Had to search email to get a contact person.
Besides the check in problem all was good. Noise from other cabins that were full of kids running all hours of the night was a problem for 3 days out of the 14.

It is a beautiful location and convenient to towns and lots of Provincial Parks. It was nice to have a kitchen, but the hotplates and the barbecue were dirty.

Better Than Advertised
Took my mom here for her 60th birthday for two nights. Chose this place as we were on a budget. Looked like we could get more for less. I was right. Definitely would come back here again with my kids and wife next time. There is a canoe and kayak rental place at the foot of the property. Quite handy. With a fire pit as well you can use, make sure to bring your own firewood as the pile that’s there isn’t for guests. That was confusing. There is a pub next to the property, no issues with that, even ate there one night. Some mouse poop outside our cabin door and the blinds to the living room didn’t close. Not the biggest gripes, but those could be addressed. In all the accommodations were clean for the two double beds and I believe the upstairs bed is a queen. My mom was happy with the place as she wanted to stay in a cabin which was the heron one. The raven and the eagle are the other cabins. The pictures don’t do the place justice, better photos on a sunny day would make it feel more welcoming. Good location, space for kids to run around, on the water, clean. Not hard to write this and recommend it. Better Than Advertised.

Great location, cabin is everything you need.
For the price, this cabin and look location is everything you need. It's not luxury, the location isn't exactly serene... You hear truck sounds and parking lot noise...not an issue at night but a bit loud in the morning if you aren't an early riser like us. There's a few things I would gladly pay a bit more for especially at our age and that's beds ...the beds were horribly uncomfortable for us adults, but my kids didn't mind one bit.

Camping without the tent!
These are great cabins with all the basics you need, as long as you are in the mood for ‘camp’ style living (which we were). We were in the Heron cabin which has two bedrooms (double bed) and a loft (king bed). Beds are not too comfortable and are noisy, but nice to have all that space. Half bath with smallish shower does the trick. Kitchen has coffee maker, microwave, double hot plate, toaster oven. All you need for ‘camp style’ meals. Fridges (2 small ones) were sufficient for our needs, but bring a cooler just in case. Cabins also have a nice shared bbq, along with garbage and recycling bins. We would stay again, but would bring extra pillows or a foamy to make the beds more comfortable. Fantastic wildlife and beautiful views. Pub next door is handy.

Clean cabin, perfect location bed
Priced appropriately and located in an ideal spot on Sechelt. Was able to have campfires by the beach, take a hot shower and use the BBQ for meals. The tiny square footage is very efficiently used and 4 adults and two kids were able to fit comfortably. Literally next door to amenities and on the water itself in porpoise bay. Pretty decently situated. If you want a more serene, private setting then this isn’t a good choice, but you get what you pay for and we are happy with how it turned out.

Amazing experience, except the beds.
Pros. Cabin is clean and good for 2 families, host is good, kitchen well equiped, beautiful patio with an amazing view, free parking next to the cabin, good value. Cons. Bed matresses are terrible, impossible to have a deep sleep. The port next to the cabin can be noisy early morning. Thanks. We’ll probably stay again.
