3/5 - Okay
Do not venture into the villages without a guide or with someone local. It’s best to be with someone who knows the people and can escort you around.

It was a really nice stay I really appreciate and admire that they waited for me to check in late after driving from Buckeye AZ. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant where very professional in thier appearance and their demeanor was very friendly along with comforting. Thanks staff keep up ...

Cute lodging! Had 2 units but one unit is just a bedroom and bathroom. No hot water in pool house shower I needed to use. Nice pool area and 3 hot tubs. Not far from town, maybe 6 min. Lots off trails hiking mountain biking nearby.

I was disappointed that I couldn’t have an extra hour before I had to check out. 10:00 is early for a standard checkout. 😏

I travel for work to the Navajo reservation, first time to Second Mesa Hopi reservation. Both areas are economically depressed and it shows in housing and services available. 2nd Mesa is very pretty, wide open and looks very different from Navajo Res
Staff were friendly and helpful. Small museum with information about Hopi history and culture - Anna, the museum docent, was pleasant and answered questions about the various towns of 1st,2nd and 3rd mesas. You need a Hopi guide to visit the various.
Anyone visiting this area should take the time to contemplate the human and natural history of this unique area. The Hopi are wonderful people!
I would love to go back:)
The Hopi Reservation is a very special place.
