“What a lovely place, check in was nice & easy & the receptionist was very welcoming & friendly. We had a drink in the pub & all staff were super friendly, especially the lad who was also on check out this morning! We didn’t have breakfast as we went to my parents house nearby & my dad cooked for us 😊”

“I stayed here as a wedding guest and was not disappointed. The room was really clean and very modern and overlooked the canal which was nice to see. The bed was quite high which other guests also commented on but was comfortable. The only downside was I couldn't find the hairdryer when needed but was told by another guest that the center compartment of the desk lifted up (this was not obvious) which housed the hairdryer and mirror. “I was quite happy with the service in this hotel, the assistant manager was really helpful and friendly. I read some comments complaining about the breakfast and rooms condition, i guess it is not fair as we are not paying high amount of it so shouldn't expect extremely high. The breakfast was delicious just my room was a bit old but it's a village hotel, so it's much better than i expected. Btw, the pool was quite full so maybe not worth it if you have to pay extra for the entry. Anyway in……

“me and my partner paid extra for private mud bath and spa the staff at the spa were excellent taking us to a private area and making us feel very welcomed around the area. The reception staff were also very helpful and the restaurant was a reasonable price amazing and fast service and the food was amazing would definitely recommend and be staying again”

“We had a lovely two night stay at Losehill. Ideally situated if you want to walk up Losehill or Mam Tor and Edale is a 20 minute bus ride away. The bus can be caught from the bottom of the lane. The service from every member of staff we encountered during our stay was outstanding. The food was excellent with amazing views as you eat.”
