Hotel itself is very clean and the room is spacious, and the front desk is very helpful. There's only one thing the guests need to be aware of, the bathroom of family suite is located in the lower level of the room and the stairs might be little bit steep for older people, that's something to consider if you are traveling with seniors.”

“We loved our stay at Saju Kyoto. We arrived early and they looked after our bags until it was time to check in. When we checked in we were served matcha tea and Japanese cakes in our room. The room was very tiny but so comfortable, cosy and traditional. The futons were the most comfortable beds we had during all our time in Japan! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. “We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes).
