“We enjoyed the experience of an old traditional house. Easy walk to the shore and the train station and lots of dining experience. Great bakery next door. ”

“The lady who checked me in was super friendly, and offered me plenty of candy at the front desk. Some of the flaws that I’ve seen here are the presence of mosquitoes and the lack of a source of water or ice. The pros that I can share here are that it doesn’t require the key or keycard to run the lights or circuits in the room, and the room is quite furnished with views of the beach.”

“Very cute guest house, we enjoyed our stay in the family room. The staff was very accommodating and hold our luggage prior to checking in. There’s a very good soba/udon restaurant (Dote) nearby. The beach is very close by as well. ”

“My wife and I wanted to “slow travel” for a few days and found this place on VRBO. It’s a 100-yr old traditional coastal home.
It is directly across the road (there is a convenient tunnel under the road) from Zaimokuza and Yuigahama beaches and there is a bus stop right outside the door for a 15 min ride to/from Kamakura Station. The #40 bus is reliable and easy. Don’t bother with a taxi.
It is also a 15-min walk to the Enoden train, which follows the coastline and goes to Hase and Enoshima...

InterContinental Yokohama Grand by IHG
10/10 Excelente
"Amazing view and excellent service
The hotel offers a stunning view of Yokohama.
The staff were very kind and attentive - even though the system was down and the check-in took a bit longer, they kindly offered us a complimentary drink while we waited. The amenities were of high quality and overall, it was a wonderful experience. I definitely recommend this hotel."
"The view of Yokohama Bay is fantastic from the Tower rooms. Very comfortable beds and great food in all restaurants.
The restaurants close early, could stay open a little late. "
"Parking they doesn't say that has working hours.. so I can confirm they are cheating.
I tried to talk with the director, about this issue, and he didn't show up, so not only liers, also nos giving explanation.
Breakfast is terrible.
For sure, a no go hotel.. plenty of options around, no reason to choose this one.
