“We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. Continental breakfast was served promptly at 8 am and the addition of fresh strawberries and blueberries was a definite plus!
Check in / check out was swift and efficient.
Just a couple of minus points:-

“Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.”

“I bought this overnight stay on the understanding there would be parking available as stated on your website , however i was then told there was no parking on site and i had to park half a mile away and walk in torrential rain .
The room itself was up three flights of narrow badly lit stairs , the room was in a filthy disgusting state it clearly hadnt been cleaned properly for months, tatty furniture, dust and dirt everywhere. The bathroom was horrendous black mould around shower and floor the...
