EXCEPT A/C or air conditioning: It boggles my mind that these properties are allowed to market air conditioning when they are incredibly underpowered or simply don’t work.
My room did not cool off, kind of, until 3-5 am every single night. It was a nightmare. They don’t care because they know it’s like that.
I had to buy a large fan just to trick myself to sleep.
The quickest tell that they are confidently aware of how they’re skimping you… The lobby……

“The worst experience I have ever endured in my life. I was there with my two small children and my husband. The outside area of the hotel was dirty, scary, badly maintained, and smells bad. The hotel is generally dirty with trash on the floor in the dining area. The air conditioning not working properly and it was 40 degrees Celsius outside. The family room has a bunk bed for the children which is worst than sleeping on the bare floor. My kids ended up moving to sleep with us both nights. We……
