“We stayed at this property for 9 nights. Although it is a nice property, it misrepresented its amenities in the Expedia posting. The posting lists two pools and a beach, both of which are correct. However, it doesn't mention that you need to purchase drinks/food from the two restaurants to use the amenities. That was at least $30-$40 daily just for drinks for the three of us. In addition, one of the two pools is gated for a handful of higher-priced rooms and not open to all property patrons.”

“The grounds at the hotel are beautiful. The room was nice and very clean. The beach is gorgeous and never had an issue finding a chair to lounge on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely would return to The Kontiki if we ever go back to Curacao.”

“This is a beautiful property. The staff were polite and accommodating. There is no mirror or TV in the room. We had ocean view and it was gorgeous. The only disappointment was not being able to use the pool after 6pm far as amenities. And, I stayed there for 7 days which was an hefty penny. After paying at checkout, I was called back to swipe my card again because they didn’t charge me 6 cents. They were helpful in helping my spouse obtain flowers for my birthday and storing my cake.”
