“Giannis was excellent - could not have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, partner found the bed a little too firm but I thought it was perfect. Free minibar was a nice perk. I wish the pool hours were longer but I understand from a liability perspective. The vending machine in the lobby was an excellent touch. Room was kept lovely and clean! Location was perfectly central, delicious brunch was just steps away and the town centre was a few minutes out. I hope that we return to……

“This is our 2nd visit to the hotel. Maria, Dimitri, George, Alexandros, these our the hotels staff that make you feel like family. They went out of their way to make our stay seamless. Breakfast was a nice variety and delicious. Centrally located to downtown. Best place ever….book your stay here ”

“Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. When reported to the restaurant about the limited choice we were told that is all they’ve got - no attempt to address it or improve. In the end we ate……

“We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. “Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance. Pool side service also lacked enthusiasm but the bar was near enough that this wasn’t a great inconvenience. Would stay there again.”

“La permanenza qui è stato diciamo nella media, comoda perché è vicino a skiathos centro però devi avere un mezzo per scendere e salire, a piedi penso sia infattibile. La struttura secondo me è un po’ vecchio stile, per essere un 4 stelle. La doccia era tutta aperta e l’acqua cadeva fuori, per me era scomodo. “Stayed two nights june 24-26, we enjoyed this place and would stay again. Its a bit out of the way and a car is required although there are regular bus stops at the front gate. Had a well manicured garden and nice pool. A rocky beach is about a 3 minute walk. The room was clean, had all the amenities we expected and the bed was comfortable. They have two breakfasts, a light continental and a buffet. The continental was enough for us.”
