"Great location adjoining the whisky vaults pub and near the train station, ferry port, restaurants, bars and shops. Cute room, compact but well decorated. Bathroom small but had a good shower. Kettle, tea and coffee plus shortbread included and a grab bag with pains au chocolat, cereal bars, fruit and water for breakfast. No storage for suitcases on site if you are not travelling straight after checking out, but west coast motors office near by, which is very close to station and ferry port, stores luggage for a very reasonable price."

"Parking can be a problem, option to book a space. Breakfast was good but if you have a dog with you like we had, you have to go back and forth from the main breakfast room to the bar area even though it is a better view."

"My husband was locked in the bathroom due to a faulty door lock and had to be freed by staff. I also reported a wall light fitting hanging loosely from the bedroom wall. Very worrying lack of maintenance and safety checks."
